Okay, first a disclaimer: I didn't try to make this look like a beer advertisement on purpose. It just kind of turned out the way it did :) But I liked the shot, so I decided to submit it here anyway.

The lovely model in the foreground is my wife, enjoying a fine Belgian brew and lost in a moment of thought. The man in the background is a complete stranger who's just in it for the scenery.

Haha! When I saw the glass of Leffe, I knew it had to be in a Belgian bar! Too bad the background isn't a little more out of focus, but I like the picture. Nice work. :thumbsup:

hehe :) i also like the scene ... because of her straight look and the atmosphere around it - i never tried the belgian beer ;) (but i was allready in be)

the photograph is a lil bit truncated (e.g. at the bottom ) and the focus is not perfect but it doesnt matter at all - the photograph is not less attractive because of this ;) - the viewers allready showed it

Great perspective to this, love the desaturation. Knowing me I probebly woulda edited it and made the drink in the glass colored and everything else uncolored, but this came out beautiful as is. Beautifully done. :)

This is great. Great comp, I like the contrasting lines in the table and in the tiles. They help lead the eye. Good job on the exposure and camera on the beer glass balancing act you pulled of!

The focus on the glass of beer really draws the attention, and a good choice of beer. Also the pose of the man sort or less reflects on the pose of your wife. Both relaxed and with their hands at their faces. Overal a very balaced and wonderful photo.

There's just this little thing.. how do you say? There is an angle in the shot that shouldn't be there. It's just a bit of, nothing bad but it loses a little of it's perfection. Or is it just because of the perspective (hard to say).

It does look a lot like an advertisement for beer... but a good advertisement. :D

Your wife makes a lovely model and I love the curiousity of the man in the background.
