What happens in that back corner of the mind when you look for a way to believe you have less? When you're looking for the side that's greener? When you're looking to be someone else? When you're wishing to be the fairest of them all? What happens when you are more concerned with the life you don't have than the one you do?
Wow. Seriously, not only is that an awesome shot, but the thoughts and concept behind it are really great.
To sound totally lame...did you ever read Harry Potter? There's a mirror that when you look in it shows you your greatest desire. And people would die of starvation, wasting away, staring at what will never be theirs. I think we're all a victim of envy at some point....the important thing is to be able to acknowledge that and let it go. What a sad life it would be to always be wanting something more instead of enjoying what you have. Thank you for this wonderful image.
I LOVE this... its gorgeous. What a wonderful idea. It's a fav, no doubt about it.

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

We bury the waste, the sins, the feelings decayed, and we start over with new found holiness in a temple built upon a sewer..
